BLVD Café is a French Inspired Café in downtown Sarasota, Florida. Chef and owner Mica England was a traveling private chef, who lived in the Upper West Side of Manhattan for 20 years before opening her own restaurant. BLVD Café strives to create an elegant ambiance to enjoy exquisite dishes, pastries, French champagne and gourmet coffee. Our Bagel dough is shipped from Brooklyn and baked here in Florida. Our pain au chocolat are shipped in from Paris and we bake them in our oven. We have French imported beers and wine as well as NYC style sandwiches, breakfast... and so much more.

Chef Mica England
Chef Mica's extensive history as an LGBTQ+ activist runs parallel to her remarkable career as a chef. Renowned for her world cuisine, she has made a significant impact, including a permanent display at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum. Her dedication to overturning an anti-LGBTQ+ hiring policy within the Dallas Police Department showcases her commitment to equality and justice in. Through her culinary artistry and activism, Chef Mica continues to inspire and advocate for change.

Chef Mica grew up on a farm in Oklahoma so fresh fruit and vegetables for her restaurant are a vital staple she believes in. Chef also resources from local vendors and farms.
